Editor's Comment:
I not only like this video because of its content but also for its production value. Having said that, the video is very well done and I recommend any woman looking to make her own body wrap at home, without the high cost of a spa treatment should watch this video. And oh, one final thing; don't be thrown off by the milk carton. You'll see what I mean when you watch the video.

Laser Treatment for Cellulite

source: www.healthmeup.com

Laser treatment for cellulite has proven to be one of the most effective cellulite treatments. This procedure is carried out by a qualified surgeon and achieves its goal by melting away the fact that bulge out, break away the fibrous septate which lead to the indentation and finally thicken the thermos so as to prevent recurrence of cellulite in future.

Laser treatment for cellulite is painless and can be completed under local anesthesia. However, the patient will remain awake when the procedure is being carried out. It takes just between 60-90 minutes to get it done. However, there could be some little variation depending on the specific procedure which you use.

The laser treatment is minimally invasive and almost painless. The patient will not have to worry about going under a surgeon’s knife because a small needle with some controlled radiation is used. The end result is a smooth and well tightened skin. For some time now, cellulite has been pretty hard to treat, but excellent results can be achieved within a very short span of time with the help of laser procedure.

The laser attacks the anatomic root which is responsible for causing cellulite and again, depending on the exact laser treatment procedure which is adopted, long term results may be achieved. Laser Treatment for Cellulite increases the natural thickness of your skin, therefore achieving a healthier and smoother look that looks great for a long period of time. All these are achieved with one effective procedure- anti laser treatment.

However, there are certain things which you should expect from the laser procedure. The physician will mark the area to be worked on using a marker. A couple of very tiny incisions will be made on the area where the cellulite is located. A numbing solution or anesthesia will be used for the procedure, but you will remain awake throughout the minimally invasive procedure. Laser fibers are inserted on the incision made via a cannula which will liquefy the excess fats in the area before pressing it out gently.

After the laser procedure, you will definitely experience some discomfort and bruising and in a few instances, some liquid may leak out from the incisions. If needed, the physician may recommend the wearing of a compression garment. The patient may be asked to rest for a day or two before resuming everyday tasks. However, it may take someone up to a week to resume strenuous tasks.

Is it really possible to with one doctors visit have your cellulite completely removed? Find out how women are having this done.

    Top 30 Cellulite Busting Foods

    Editorial Note:
One of the things that I have come to discover in my pursuit of the truth behind dealing with the elimination of cellulite is that in order for a woman to be successful to that end she must take a very measured approach which cover a number of solutions. And it's essential that her diet factor into that approach. These foods can not only help you in losing weight, if that is what's also important to you but they also do wonders in shredding cellulite. I truly believe that after reading this information packed post, you'll be more hopeful than you've been in some time.

It happens to the best of us, the dreaded orange peel skin, no matter what age or size we are. Try as we may to battle cellulite with potions, lotions, creams and treatments, the most effective way of smoothing things over is actually by improving our diets. Cellulite - bumpy fat deposits underneath the skin - is caused by a number of factors, including hormones, but the build up of toxins in the body and the elasticity of the skin can also contribute. Try focusing your diet on the Top 30 foods we've listed here and see if it makes a difference. You should also take regular exercise, focusing particularly on troublesome areas, and avoid alcohol, cigarettes and sugary or processed foods.

    Green Tea

Green tea has been proven to aid weight loss by speeding up the metabolism, inhibiting fat absorption and aiding glucose regulation, making it a great beverage choice for anyone who’s looking to shape up and improve their health. However, it’s also good for beating the dreaded orange peel skin. It contains an ingredient called theobromine, which stimulates the release of stored fats in the body, as does the caffeine it contains. Try drinking three to five cups a day and see if it makes a difference.

    Whole Grains

Brown pasta, brown rice and other whole grain cereals can aid weight loss as a source of slow-release energy, which keeps you satisfied for longer. They are also high in antioxidants, battling against cellulite-causing toxins by helping the body to boot them out. Add at least one bowl a day to your diet to feel the effects.

    Broccoli

Broccoli is a real king among vegetables as far as nutritional values go. Each floret contains a cocktail of beauty-boosting vitamins and minerals, and is relatively low in calories. However, there is one property it has that other foods lack in. Alpha lipoic is a naturally-occurring substance that prevents collagen in the body from hardening, which causes cellulite. Get your fill by including three or four steamed portions a week to your meals.

    Water

One of the most common causes of cellulite, other than genetics, is the toxins we consume and inhale. These reduce the skin’s elasticity and slow the circulation, so we need to aid our body’s natural detox process and help to flush them out. Drinking plenty of water is essential for this, so make sure you drink the recommended eight glasses a day, and avoid toxin-rich alcohol and soft drinks.

    Oranges

Oranges don’t just taste sweet – they’re a great for your body, too. As well as being packed with vitamin C, oranges contain methoxylated bioflavonoids, which improve the blood circulation and correct cell imbalances that may lead to cellulite.

    Asparagus

Many A-listers swear by eating asparagus before appearing on the red carpet because of its fantastic anti-inflammatory properties, which reduce bloating while remaining low in calories. It’s also great for flushing out pesky toxins that can lead to cellulite, as it stimulates blood circulation.

    Berries

Eating antioxidant-rich berries, such as raspberries, blueberries or blackberries, is a particularly good way of helping your body get rid of toxins. Sprinkle a handful over your cereal in the morning, or enjoy as part of a low fat smoothie.

    Oily Fish

Processed fatty foods like cheese and sausages are a big cellulite-busting no-no. But good fats, like those found in oily fish such as salmon and mackerel, can actually help to smooth things out. The fatty acids it contains help your body to metabolize fat, including that of cellulite.

    Cayenne Pepper

As well as boosting your metabolism – the process your body uses to burn calories – cayenne pepper helps to improve your circulation. The hot spice does this by warming the body internally, thus increasing the blood flow.

    Turmeric

Another spice great for giving orange peel skin the heave-ho is turmeric. The yellow spice, which is often used in Indian cooking, stimulates the circulation, reduces swelling and battles toxins with high levels of antioxidants, too. Try making a low-fat veggie curry a few times a week with some of the other ingredients listed here and see if it makes a difference.

    Garlic

Garlic is well-known for helping to lower blood cholesterol, as well as being a great immune system booster and a natural antibiotic. This not only improves the general health of the body, but also aids blood circulation, helping the body to flush out toxins and battle against cellulite.

    Watermelon

Watermelon gets its beautiful ruby red color from a particularly potent antioxidant called lycopene. This not only helps to improve blood circulation, therefore helping to smooth out cellulite over time, but can also protect against heart disease…

    Pink Grapefruit

… As does pink grapefruit which, like oranges, also contains methoxylated bioflavonoids. These are antioxidants which improve the blood circulation and correct cell imbalances that can lead to cellulite. Furthermore, grapefruit is thought to be a good metabolism booster, so we’d definitely recommend giving this all-rounder a whirl.

    Tomatoes

Tomatoes also get their cheery scarlet exteriors from circulation-stimulating lycopene. They, too, are rich in vitamin C, which helps to keep the skin firm and taut by aiding collagen production.

    Apricots

Fiber-rich apricots are high in vitamins A and C, as well as containing lycopene. Swap out your usual midday snack for a small bag of dried apricots and a sprinkling of almonds instead.

Homemade Remedies in Getting Rid of Cellulite

    Editor's Note:
Of the things you have tried to reduce the damage of your cellulite, I sincerely hope that a home remedy has been one of them. Home remedies have been known to be effective for certain medical conditions and aliments. I can't speak to any particular home remedy's effectiveness, and as you'll see, in this article there are a few, but I think using all natural ingredients, you probably have in your home, is probably more likely to produce more favorable results compared to some of what is found over the counter.

I don't think you have anything to lose in trying any or all of the remedies, so do yourself a favor and check your cupboard to see what you need, and then get started.

Cellulite chooses no age. You can have it at 30 or even at 13. They are a natural reaction of the body especially when the adipose tissues are weak to hold off excess fats causing them to bulge out of the skin. And although there are no known cure for these skin imperfections, there are things that you can do to reduce them. While you can always drop by your dermatologist's clinic to book the latest treatment available, you can always save money by opting for homemade remedies.

Here are some homemade ways that you can do in getting rid of cellulite.

    1. Cayenne Powder, Lemon Juice, and Sea Salt Mixture
First, prepare the following materials or ingredients: 1 tablespoon of coarse sea salt, 1 cup of water, half cup of lemon juice, and a bit of cayenne powder. Mix all the ingredients together. Apply the mixture on the skin before you step into the shower.

    2. Coffee Cellulite Cream
It's not a big secret that coffee contains caffeine, which fights cellulite. To make a coffee cellulite cream, prepare the following ingredients: half cup of ground coffee, 1 or 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and plastic wrap. Put the coffee in a microwave. Heat for one minute, After that, put in the olive oil. When the temperature of the resulting cream becomes bearable, lather the affected area with it.

    3. Cellulite soap
To create your own soap, you need the following: coffee salt, ginger sea salt, and clear glycerin soaps. To start, melt the soaps by putting them in the microwave. Pour the melted soaps into the soap molds. Fill the molds until they are half full. Put in some coffee scrubs and mix them in. Do the same thing with the ginger sea salt. Pour some more soap. Leave everything overnight until the soap gets dry.

    4. Coffee Grind Scrub
If you love drinking coffee every day, don't throw away the grind. Instead, put them in one container so that on your next bath, you can use them as a scrub. Once again, the caffeine in this coffee grind will help reduce these lumpy deposits.

The working principle of these homemade remedies is simple. The nutrients and minerals contained in these ingredients help improve circulation and bring back the elasticity of the skin. Because of this, the lumpy deposits (or excess fats caught up in the adipose tissues) can be distributed well all over the body. Also, the adipose tissues will gain their firmness back, which leads to healthier and more radiant skin.

    How to Prevent Cellulite

    Editor's Note:

Okay you're one of the lucky few who doesn't have cellulite. But because there is no guarantee that you won't ever one day have the condition I believe that it just makes good sense for you as a woman to know what is involved in preventing from acquiring it. The tips in following article may not necessarily be all inclusive but as you will soon see, there is still many good tips that you can put into practice if you are willing to put in the work.

What is one word that can cause widespread fear and loathing in women all across the world? Although images of spiders, snakes or even bad dates might come to mind, an even more common fear exists - cellulite! The unsightly wrinkling of skin around your hips, thighs and buttocks is experienced by most post-pubescent women. Although you can't completely eliminate cellulite, you can empower yourself to reduce the condition.

If you want to know how to prevent cellulite, you need to inform yourself of the various methods available.

The cosmetics industry has been more than happy to take advantage of this widespread condition by offering an endless variety of products aimed at fighting cellulite. Anti-cellulite creams, lotions or gels are now available in most department stores and the majority of cosmetic companies now offer products specifically targeted to reduce cellulite. For example, Hydroderm has created a product called "Body Shape" which increases moisture to the skin. The active ingredients of the lotion are delivered into the fat cells in an effort to dehydrate and reduce the size of the individual fat cells. The prices and results vary greatly so you will need to invest a little time to determine if any of the products actually do produce visible results.

An option that requires a little more effort, but greatly improves your chances of positive results is weight and interval training. Interval training consists of alternating between a recovery or slower pace and a faster high-exertion pace of exercises. Fitness instructors recommend performing vigorous interval training at least twice per week. Weight lifting sessions should also be incorporated into your weekly routine - especially exercises targeted for the lower body such as squats, leg presses and lunges. Regular cardiovascular exercise will help you to burn extra calories and transform body fat into energy, thus minimizing the appearance of cellulite.

One-time treatment gets rid of cellulite

    Editor's Note:
In doing my research for this blog I came across a treatment for removing cellulite that is FDA approved and only requires one visit. I have to tell you guys that the treatment is very expensive but it does have a 100% satisfaction rate. The following article is an excerpt taken from a story Fox news did on the treatment and the doctor who developed it. The story is somewhat dated but that shouldn't matter if the procedure is able to help some of you.

Ever since “showing some skin” hit the fashion scene, women have been looking for ways to get rid of cellulite.

Click the following link To understand Cellulite Causes and Treatments

Johanna Petrychi, a physician’s assistant from Queens, N.Y., is no exception – she has been dealing with cellulite since her ‘tween years.

"Even at 12 years old, you know, always going to the beach with friends; sitting down, I look over, I had dimples, they didn't have dimples,” Petrychi said. “And it was something that progressively got worse the older I got."

No matter how much she exercised, Petrychi didn't see a change, and it affected her everyday life.

"I always wore long shorts from as far back as I remember,” she said. “You know, whether it'd be going out to the beach, or trying to wear skirts; growing up everything just went to my knee," she said.

So in November 2010, she turned to Dr. Bruce Katz, director of the Juva Skin and Laser Center in New York City, who introduced her to Cellulaze, the first one-time laser treatment approved for cellulite by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
